Questions/Answers on Romans 6-8

Freedom :: a study of Romans 6-8

September 5, 2008 · 4 Comments

This fall, at Trinity Chapel, we’re walking through Romans 6-8. These chapters deal with who we are in Christ and what it means to begin to live in freedom … freedom from the power of sin in our daily lives. This blog is intended to answer questions that arise through the Sunday AM teaching and small group discussions through the week.

A daily devotional guide with small group discussion questions is available on Sunday morning or during the week at the church office. (see www.trinitychapelbc.org for more info)

We can’t possibly deal with every question on Sunday mornings but we want to provide this blog as a forum for further discussion!

Stay tuned for a weekly opportunity to post your questions.

    Well, I really “tuned in” to read what others had to say and their questions…but there weren’t any! So, here’s mine:

    When I try to “not focus on not sinning” (one particular current sin habit), and on enjoying God instead – I have a hard time trying to figure out how to enjoy Him at that time! What do you focus on or think or do to help yourself at such times? I’m not having much success at all, unfortunately. Thanks!

    I know you said this week’s teaching was not about divorce, but I can’t help wondering about it. I have a divorce in my background and so this issue is important to my heart. What does the Bible say about a Christian remarrying after a divorce that wasn’t necessarily the best (we are both Christians and both made mistakes). Can I remarry? What if I do remarry? Am I committing adultery?
